The format of Melodi Grand Prix this year, is that a total of 18 songs compete, with a total of 6 songs in each of the 3 semi-finals. From each semi-final, 3 acts qualify to the final, making the final consisting of 9 songs in the end.

Anyhow, these were the 6 songs of tonight: (In order of performance)

  6. GÃ¥te – “Ulveham”

As a reminder, last week we had the pleasure of witnessing Margaret Berger, Ingrid Jasmin and Gothminister qualifying to the final, which is set to take place on the 3rd of February.

Results!

Joining the 3 finalists already, in the final were announced as follow, which was once again, fully decided by only viewers:

  • Super Rob & Erika Norwich – “My AI”
  • GÃ¥te – “Ulveham”
  • Dag Erik Oksvold & Anne Fagermo – “Judge Tenderly of Me”

The acts were called back to stage after the voting had concluded and here they were one by one announced whether they had qualified or not. However, after the first two qualifiers were announced, the remaining 3 were called to come in front, where the last one would be announced as the last qualifier.

Next week, the very last semi-final will take place, with the last 6 songs of the competition. Here once again,  3 of those songs will then qualify to the final, which will decide the last finalists and this year’s potential winner in Norway.
