Five Estonian artists have gotten one step closer to representing their nation at the Eurovision Song Contest after today’s Eesti Laul semi-final.

The following five artists were voted finalists after two rounds of voting — three artists were chosen in a round of 50 percent jury and 50 percent public voting, and two more were chosen in a 100 percent public vote. Here are the entries in order of their announcements:

1. Ewert and the Two Dragons – “Hold Me Now”

2. OLLIE – “My Friend”

3. 5MIINUST and Puuluup – “(Nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) midagi

4. Peter Põder – “Korra veel”

5. Anet Vaikmaa – “Serotoniin”

These five newly announced finalists will join five pre-selected finalists for a 10-song final a month from now on Saturday, Feb. 17. The automatic qualifiers include:

  • Brother Apollo — “Bad Boy”
  • Carlos Ukareda — “Never Growing Up”
  • Daniel Levi — “Over the Moon”
  • Nele-Liis Vaiksoo — “Käte ümber jää”
  • Uudo Sepp & Sarah Murray — “Still Love”

Hosts revealed that five acts received maximum points from the jury: 5MIINUST x Puuluup, Cecilia, Ingmar, Ollie, and Inga.

During the voting sequence, Eesti Laul alumna and award-winning soul singer Anett Kulbin performed a reggae/ska cover of “Tattoo” by Loreen, the winner of Eurovision 2023, with the band Angus.
