I still can’t help but chuckle at all the people who said this wasn’t a competitive entry for the UK. Still think it can win but obviously a lot of doubt lies in with the televote.

I don't see how this isn't top 3 with the juries. Then I'm thinking top 10 with the televote ultimately finishing around 5th - which would be absolutely amazing!!!
I have plans on Saturday that I can't get out of - typical that the year we're likely to do well is the one I can't watch live I wonder if I'll be able to avoid the results on social media before watching on catch-up (unlikely...)

There's a Road to Eurovision mini documentary on BBC YouTube channel. Really lovely watch, he just radiates such positive energy. When he was on the phone to his grandad it actually made me well up a bit And calling Ken Jen, brilliant

Totally agree! I had a similar experience with Heroes: good song but where it excelled was live on the night (not saying we're going to win but it gives me that exact feeling).

Not sure whether to support Spain or this as my #1. This is kind of a better written, certainly more sophisticated song, but i kinda want to support Spain because boomers who only like "real music with guitars" are gonna stan this, and Spain hasn't won or been close for much longer than the UK. Still, both would be really good winners and great for the contest, but in very different ways.
