TVE is working on a new reality show (The Hit, originally from Ireland). It will be broadcasted in the beginning of the new year, so it may be a good option in order to choose the new Spanish entry. Anyway, the public television has been sharp and has announced that nothing is decided yet about Eurovision.
We'll have to wait longer....

They should have chosen Brequette internally!!! X-OIT() damn!!!
I think with this method, we could finish with another Lucia Perez result (below 20th place) xgaah

Please a male voice for a change!!, the last guy representing Spain (singing, because when ESDM went the boys didn't sing) was Daniel Diges back in 2010. Pablo Alborán would be a cool choice

I'd have no complaints about that - Daniel's entry is still probably my favourite from Spain since I started watching Eurovision in 2007. I'd also love to see Brequette come back with a song as strong as her national final entry this year, though.

Why not something rock for a while? Like Vetusta Morla or Second or Depedro? Well, not directly them... they're not going to ESC, too famous... but something similar? Spain is getting pretty good at rock music!! Let's leave all these cheesy ESDM or pretentious female singers out (unless you have another Pastora Soler coming, I soooooooooo loved that entry)

David Bisbal with powerful ballad, with a spanish touch in singing would be more than welcome! :)

Spain should send Buika. I'm not a fan of all these women Spain keep sending that screech out their ballads. I'd be a big fan of Buika though, screeching out something really epic and interesting, plus with local flavourxyes

"Como Era" is my favourite. Get's me really excitedxheat

Escunited interviews Mey Green http://www.escunited.com/home/escuni...ews-mey-green/

Escunited had the chance to interview one of the backing singers that represented Spain in Baku, Malmo and Copenhagen. She told us about her experiences, her first steps in music’s business and much more.
Beforehand, we would like to let you know how to be the first one to know her news: @Meygreenmusic (twitter)
meygreen.net (Facebook’s page)
MeyGreen.MG (perfil)
www.meygreen.net (website)

Let’s have a chat with Mey Green, let’s know her.
Escunited:
Hi Mey, we would like to thank you your time and kindness to let us know you today.
You’ve got experience in many stiles such as rock, soul… even dance muisc with your hit “Wanna dance”. We see that your voice adapts to many styles, being quite different each other. What style do you prefer to perform in Eurovision?
Mey Green:
As you say, I have performed in many styles in my career. I decided that mixing some of them is perfect to create hits or at least to try so. My songs are based in electronic music with a fusion on rock and soul.

Escunited:
Let’s talk about the song contest now. You fought to represent Spain in 2007, 2009 and 2011. How did the idea to represent Spain in Eurovision come up to your mind ?
You were not only once but three times a candidate in the national finals. Since when and why this interest about the contest ?
Mey Green:
I always loved the contest. I must say that after my experience in the 2007’s Spain’s national final, I want much more to represent Spain and even a lot more in 2012, when I represented Spain for my first time.

Escunited:
Finally, in 2012 was when you had the chance to be part of Eurovision’s history. What did you feel when you knew that you were accepted as a backing singer after trying it for three times?
Mey Green:
Honestly, I was excited as the casting was hard, we were too many professional to be chosen just five of us.

Escunited:
A hundred million people watched Baku’s contest. The five continents could discover the strength and at the same time the softness of your sweet voice. How were your five minutes before the time to defend Spain on stage ?
Mey Green:
Imagine it, it was a lot of euphoria and responsibility. I was not the most responsible of the performance although just a little mistake of us could have spoiled everything but the results were amazing.

Escunited:
Loreen and you have something in common. You’ve got experience with dance style. Have you had or could you have the chance to share a song both of you ?
Mey Green:
Why not? Impossible is nothing. I obviously would be so glad due that Loreen is a great professional besides an amazing person.

Escunited:
The next year, you were chosen as a backing singer. That time, the results were really different each other. What are your thoughts about the big difference (of score) between Baku and Malmo? What do you think that had to improve?
Mey Green:
Well, baku’s song was really good and had those moments when you really feel the song. I think that it’s really important when you have to think on a song for the contest.
2013 was an unforgettable year, El Sueño de Morfeo (Spain 2013) are lovely guys and I’ve got no doubt that they did their very best.

Escunited:
Three national finals, two times in Eurovision and back to Europe once again. Could you ever imagine that you would have such a promotion overseas? How did it affect in a professional level the fact that you defended over 46 million Spaniards in Eurovision ?
Mey Green:
The truth is that I haven’t planned that way and I must say that it’s a great thought, thank you !.
I don’t know if Eurovision helped me but one of my singles was a hit in Europe and I had proposals from producers from Turkey, Germany, Sweden, France, Mexico or New York.
I guess that obviously Eurovision helped :to make it happen

Escunited:
Being an ambassador of your country in Eurovision as a backing singer must be a great experience. Does exists a real chance to be finally the main voice in the contest ?
Mey Green:
I hope so

Escunited:
You went back to the contest again. How was Copenhagen’s experience ?
Mey Green:
Amazing

Escunited:
Thank you very much for your time with us.
Mey Green:
Thank you, it has been a pleasure.

The new TVE talent show "El Hit: La Canción" will have three former ESC artists: Sergio Dalma (1991), Rosa (2002) and Pastora Soler (2012). Also David Bustamante (NF 2002), Auryn (NF 2011), Vanessa Martín, Antonio Carmona, Marta Sánchez, Melendi or Mojinos Escozíos.
This talent show is to pick a song, not a singer. So composers will present songs that will be performed by these popular artists and in the end we'll have a winner.
From the very first moment we had rumours about this could end up as a NF, at least to choose the song, and after knowing all the ESC related artists those rumours are even stronger. Who knows.
Personally, I don't know if this would be good or bad.
