Since I joined NSC (In NSC 2) I just thought that this would be a nice thing to compete in. Now after being in NSC for 2 and a half years, I still in love with this marvelous song contest! Where could you hear songs from Japan, Russia, Germany, Africa and Mexico at the same time? Where could you hear pop, rock, trance, disco, metal and so on at the same place? It's not like the radio plays that every day of the week! 
This contest has survived for three years in February, and still it is one of the biggest and IMO Best song contests ever! A great mix of every genre and every kind of singers. We have all find songs that are amazing and that we have put on our Ipods and MP3-players, and some songs that we have hated, but still in some way, have been had a big part in the contests history! I guess you wonder, what it is that has made that this has survived for 60 editions? It is US!
WE are the people that is behind this contest. We have send songs that we have loved and the contest have given all the chance of saying:
"This is a song I like and I hope you like it!"
All countries that has participated in NSC has been a part of this contest, even the countries that just have sent 1 song should have a chance of be a part of this celebration. Don't you agree?
That's the reason I would like a Big NSC Congratulations, with one song from each country that has participated!
Now you may wonder how many that is? If we count the total of the ones that are competing now + the ones that now are defunct, it is at the moment 153 countries! That is alot of countries of course, so that's why I would like some help from you all that are interested in making such a contest!
First of all, we should work out the rules! A contest with more than 120 songs is a lot of work! Should we have more than one host for this? Should it be several semifinals? I am not sure about these questions, but I have been thinking about the voting. My solution is that the best way is that it isn't obligated to vote in this contest. The reason is that I see this more like a celebration than a contest. It has also something to do with the next thing we need to sort out.
One thing we have to begin with is to find the people that aren't with us anymore. Maybe they want to join this celebration, maybe they don't, but we should at least ask them about their opinion. And even if they don't want to join, I have an idea of making small "NFs" with it's country's songs, so we can get a song from them, even if they want to join or not! This would also make it hard for them to vote, and that's another reason for not force people to vote in this celebration.

If you know some of the persons of these countries, please try to contact them in some way and at least ask them if they are interested to at least choose one of their songs to this contest. Some of these countries are already on this forum, so please tell me if you are interested to join or not. The earlier we get an answer from these, the earlier I could start with these NFs (if you think it's a good idea?), since a couple of months sounds like a long time..but can go very fast if we aren't ready for it!
I think I haven't forgot anything that I wanted to say..otherwise I add it later on.

Defunct countries are still welcome to choose for themselves if they are available, and should!
If you know some of the persons of these countries, please try to contact them in some way and at least ask them if they are interested to at least choose one of their songs to this contest. Some of these countries are already on this forum, so please tell me if you are interested to join or not. The earlier we get an answer from these, the earlier I could start with these NFs (if you think it's a good idea?), since a couple of months sounds like a long time..but can go very fast if we aren't ready for it!
I think I haven't forgot anything that I wanted to say..otherwise I add it later on.
Now I wonder you're opinions about this?
Are there any questions of my ideas, just ask them here and I'll answer them!
I know it sounds like a lot of work, but if we work together, this could be the biggest party ever!
