Okay, "Hurt" is definitely not my song, I liked his song last year better. Can't connect to it at all.Where are the good songs, Finland. Now my last hope is really Blind Channel with a nrock song that blows my mind away.

This is much better than "Looking Back". A sweet and tender song that fits voice absolutely perfect. The verses actually gives me goosebumps, really well made song. And it feels like the lyrics fits him better as well, feels like he reallyn understand what he sings this time comparing to last year.

So yeah, if not one of the last two are complete bangers, I see Aksel win UMK 21 easily.

Hurt is inoffensive, plain, unremarkable. Not feeling this, I wish I could support Aksel more, as he’s been through a disgusting bullying from a section of the fanbase, but I’m just not into his song.

It has some similarities in the chorus with "looking back". Overall I like it a bit better, but I need to give it a couple of further listenings to know what I should think about it.

Hurt is sweet and tender, but I don't like the first chorus, which suddenly falls down compared to the pre-chorus and sounded less energetic.

Axel Kaankaranta has just delivered!

"Hurt" is AWESOME..I love that simplicity of the melody, still such a melodic structure.. I love the color of the voice, the vocal tone..MELANCHOLY!
It is almost like last year entry, but since Axel's lives are wonderful, i expect this to be elevated on the level of "Looking back" or even higher!

Oooh I really do LOVE Danny and "Hurt", they are both AMAZING to me... I want both of them in Rotterdam!

I can't wait to hear Aksel's song so I can decide between "meh, I don't care about anything else in this selection enough, go ahead & send this" and "oh my god not even in this NF, not even with him entitled to it, this absolutely must be stopped."

Pretty unequivocally the former. I've certainly heard worse, including from him, last year, in the most egregious NF robbery of 2020, but it's kinda there, it's almost a little poignant except that it's deeply asinine, go ahead and send him, I don't care enough about anything else here.

Gah, what is it with this NF?! It feels like almost every song so far has gotten my hopes up with a verse I rather like and then let them down with a surprisingly meh chorus (which is the case for Oskr, Teflon&Pandora and now Aksel). Laura's entry just feels low-effort throughout (despite me loving Supersonic & Verona), and Danny's is probably my favourite for now but I'd like it to grow a bit more and a bit earlier (plus I expect it to be chanceless in the NF, lol).

Give me something to really get excited for, UMK Until then, I guess my ranking is something like:

1. Danny
2. Teflon Brothers & Pandora
3. Aksel
4. Oskr
5. Laura

With those top 3 all being just about tied, so it'll probably depend on the performances until one of the last two entries impresses.

Aksel's song is better than last year's. Still it is missing its wau-effect and is still same singing voice volume as Looking Back was.

Let's see what Blind Channel will bring. I hope they have kept their style of their own and they won't try to do "Eurovision song", like Darude did terribly.
