Nikkie de Jager (NikkieTutorials) has confirmed she has been upgraded to a main presenter of Eurovision 2021 in Rotterdam in her latest YouTube video.

The video, in which the beauty vlogger discusses her year and her predictions for 2021, she discusses the contest and her feelings on her involvement as the online host of Eurovision 2020.

“I’ve always dreamt about doing something with Eurovision, and we fought really hard for it to get involved (…) which I’m really proud of”, the YouTuber detailed at around 8:21 in the above video. “This year we really had to prove what I was capable of, and I think that now that they can see what I can do, they are willing to give me an upgrade”.

Nikkie de Jager will join the three hosts Chantal Janzen, Edsilia Rombley and Jan Smit in hosting the contest, while continuing to host the online content for the 2021 edition of the competition.

Eurovision 2021 is set to take place in Rotterdam, Netherlands on 18th, 20th and 22nd May, with a number of formats planned to ensure a competition is held, regardless of the pandemic situation in Europe in May next year.
