Another eight Spanish acts are competing for a chance of a lifetime tonight – a qualification spot in the Benidorm final this coming Saturday and the chance to represent Spain in Eurovision 2024.

Ahead of tonight’s show we asked YOU who should take those four spots, and you showed up. In fact a total of 86 votes were cast in a 24 hour window, with St. Pedro receiving an overwhelming 31% of votes from readers to qualify. Almácor received the second highest amount of votes, with a two way tie for third going to María Peláe and Marlena. 

Here is the full breakdown of results:

  1. St. Pedro – “Dos Extraños (Cuarteto de Cuerda)” – 26 votes (31%)
  2. Almácor – “Brillos platino” – 14 votes (17%)
  3. María Peláe – “Remitente” – 13 votes (16%)
  4. Marlena – “Amor de verano” – 13 votes (16%)
  5. Jorge González – “Caliente” – 9 votes (11%)
  6. Yoly Saa – “No se me olvida” – 7 votes (9%)
  7. Dellacruz – “Beso en la mañana” – 3 votes (4%)
  8. Roger Padrós – “El temps” – 1 vote (2%)

The qualifiers from the Benidorm semi-finals will be decided by a three part voting system, a professional jury who decides 50% of the vote, a demoscopic jury who decides 25% of the vote, and a public televote who will decide the final 25% of the vote. The show is set to take place at 22:50 CET and can be viewed on RTVE Play.
