As reported on the site back in August, UA:PBC (Suspilne) and corporate broadcaster STB have decided to go their seperate ways, which also means that Vidbir will no longer serve as Ukraine’s Eurovision selection process. However, UA:PBC has been working behind the scenes to create a brand new selection show for Eurovision fans, and this week we go our first peek at what to expect.

The national selection will be a multi-phase process, with the first phase being the submission process, which is open from December 14th to January 10th. Any artists who are interested in participating in the selection show can complete the application here. The broadcaster will then select a shortlist of artists that are advancing to the second round no later than January 24th.

The second round will be a televised selection show without any semi-finals, and will be broadcast live on the UA:PBC channels in February 2022. The winner of the national final will be decided by both a jury and public vote.
