It’s another bumper Saturday in Eurovision world, as this evening sees a huge crop of talent take to stages across the continent. No less than FOUR songs for Eurovision 2022 will be decided this evening, with a clean sweep in the Baltics and the winner of Ukraine’s Vidbir set to be crowned.
Alongside these shows, Melodifestivalen continues, the final line-up of Norway’s Melodi Grand Prix shapes up and Romania and Slovenia continue to cut down their selection options.

ESTONIA – Eesti Laul Final (18:30 CET)
The annual Eesti Laul competition is now an intrinsic part of Estonian music culture, and tonight the competition sees another winner crowned from the final ten acts. A combination of jury voting and televoting will pick a top three acts to reach the “superfinal”, with one of these acts being chosen by the Estonian public alone as their representative in Turin.
Tonight’s ten finalists are;

LATVIA – Supernova Final (20:05 CET)
Our second Baltic nation this evening deciding for 2022 is Latvia, with Supernova set to take place once more. The 17 semi-finalists have been whittled down to a remaining 11, after Miks Dukurs was given a wildcard to perform due to technical issues in his semi-final performance.
The competing acts are;

A combination of jury voting and televoting will decide Latvia’s entry for Eurovision 2022. There will also be special guest performances from Uku Suviste and The Roop, two of last year’s Eurovision entrants.

LITHUANIA – Pabandom iš Naujo! Final (20:00 CET)
After four heats and two semi-finals, we are now left with just eight hopefuls in this year’s edition of Pabandom iš Naujo!. One of these acts will be chosen this evening to represent Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest, being decided by a 50/50 split of jury voting and televoting.
The eight competing acts are;

- Ieva Zasimauskaitė – I’ll Be There
- Rūta Loop – Call Me from the Cold
- Gebrasy – Into Your Arms
- Justė Kraujelytė – How to Get My Life Back

NORWAY – Melodi Grand Prix Semi-Final 5 (Second Chance) (20:05 CET)
Melodi Grand Prix’s final eliminator sees four of the unlucky entries in previous semi-finals get a last chance at reaching the competition’s final next weekend. The four entries chosen to compete for this wildcard are;
- Kim Wigaard – La melodia
- Maria Mohn – Fly
- Mari Bølla – Your Loss
- TrollfesT – Dance Like a Pink Flamingo
One of these acts will be awarded the final spot in next weekend’s final show, where Norway’s Eurovision representative will be confirmed. There will also be the presentation of the final prequalified entry, “Queen Bees” by Anna-Lisa Kumoji.

ROMANIA – Selecția Națională Semi-Final (20:00 CET)
Romania’s mammoth selection is reaching its final stage now, with the initial 47 entries reduced to 20 before tonight’s semi-final show. They are;

SLOVENIA – EMA Semi-Final 2 (20:20 CET)
Slovenia’s EMA continues as well this evening, with another ten acts taking to the stage in the hopes of impressing the jury and Slovenian viewers at home. Six acts will qualify from the following;

SWEDEN – Melodifestivalen Semi-Final 2 (20:00 CET)
Melodifestivalen keeps going this week, with Oscar Zia presiding over another seven acts in this evening’s semi-final. One song will go direkt til finalen from the first vote, with the remaining six facing the public once more. The winner of this vote will also qualify, with 2nd and 3rd heading to the second chance round.

UKRAINE – Vidbir 2022 (18:00 CET)
The final nation to decide their entry for this year’s contest in our preview is Ukraine, who have narrowed their Vidbir competition down to just one night this time around.
