The semi-final of Portugal’s Festival da Cançao has come to an end and only five singers have made it through to the next round.

This has been great show that somehow reminisces about the history of the Iberian country in the Pan-European competition. We have seen 10 excellent songs paired up with 10 stunning voices but the Portuguese have decided that only Catarina, Raquel Guerra, Rui Andrade and Suzy will make it to the next round. Here are the line-up of the entries and singers that have qualified:

Rui Andrade – “Ao teu encontró” (In your encounter)
Catarina Pereira – “Mea Culpa” (My blame)
Zana – “Nas Asas da Sorte” (In the wings of luck)
Raquel Guerra – “Sonhos Robados” (Stolen Dreams)
Susy – “Quero ser tua” (I wanna be yours)

The final is scheduled to take place in Lisbon’s Convento do Beato on March 15th – there will be five candidates but only one golden ticket and the lines will remain open until the grand final! Stay tuned any further development!
