Poland will hold a national selection to select their entry for Eurovision Song Contest 2023.

TVP, the Polish national broadcaster, has opened the submissions for the national final which will close on January 15, 2023. Artists who aspire to represent Poland can send their applications and entries in mp3 form using TVP’s email: [email protected]. A professional jury will select the ten finalists which will be announced on January 25, 2023.

The date set for the live national final is on February 26, 2023. There are two rounds of voting in this national final. In the first round, three songs will advance to the second round after being selected by a professional jury (50%) and publice vote (50%). The votes will be reset to zero in the second round and the jury and public will vote once again to choose the winner. In the event of a tie, the professional jury will select the Polish entry and representative.

Ochman represented Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 held in Turin with the song “River”. Qualified to the final, which marks Poland’s first qualification since 2017. He finished 12th with 151 points in the grand final which is Poland’s best result since Michael Szpak in 2016.
