Dominik Dudek, the winner of The Voice of Poland, has submitted his application for Poland’s national selection “Tu bije serce Europy – Wybieramy hit na Eurowizję” ahead of the deadline last Friday (February 10, 2023). His entry is entitled “Be Good” which will be released on February 16. The composition duo Hotel Torino is behind Dominik’s entry.

The Polish broadcaster, TVP, will announce the 10 acts that qualified for the live final on February 15, 2023. The final will commence on the 26th of February 2023. There will be two rounds of voting in this national final. In the first round, three songs will advance to the second round after being selected by a professional jury (50%) and publice vote (50%). The votes will be reset to zero in the second round and the jury and public will vote once again to choose the winner. In the event of a tie, the professional jury will select the Polish entry and representative.

Ochman represented Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 held in Turin with the song “River”. Qualified to the final from the 2nd semi-final, which marks Poland’s first qualification since 2017. He finished 12th with 151 points in the grand final which is Poland’s best result since Michael Szpak in 2016.
