Earlier this week, we asked #YOU to vote for who should win Melodifestivalen 2023 and represent Sweden in Liverpool this year, and it seems pretty clear who the readers want!

With 60.9% of the vote, it will come as no surprise – Eurovision 2012 winner Loreen is the readers’ favourite with the anthemic and striking “Tattoo”, ahead of Melfest’s rock group Smash Into Pieces. The band earned 11.7% of the vote for “Six Feet Under” to come a distant second in our poll.

In third, Norwegian twin duo Marcus & Martinus earned 9.4% of our poll votes with their energetic Melfest debut “Air”, while Theoz‘s “Mer av dig” is the highest ranked Swedish language entry with 7% of our poll votes.

The full results can be found below;

  1. Loreen – Tattoo (60.9%)
  2. Smash Into Pieces – Six Feet Under (11.7%)
  3. Marcus & Martinus – Air (9.4%)
  4. Theoz – Mer av dig (7.0%)
  5. Jon Henrik Fjällgren, Arc North ft. Adam Woods – Where You Are (Sávežan) (3.1%)
  6. Maria Sur – Never Give Up (3.1%)
  7. Mariette – One Day (1.6%)

5 other songs scored less than 1% of the vote.
