With a week of voting now behind us, the Czech Republic’s selection for Eurovision 2023, ESCZ, will officially draw to a close today as the country’s representative in Liverpool is set to be announced. With a combination of international and local voting having taken place, who will it be?

Earlier this week, we asked #YOU who should represent the Czech Republic, and it seemed to be a pretty resounding choice – it should be Vesna with “My Sister’s Crown”!

The multilingual entry from the all-female group has gained a lot of traction online and in fan communities since being revealed last week, and a staggering 61.1% of our readers thought that it should be the Czech Republic’s choice for Liverpool!

Second place in the poll, but by quite a distance, went to Rodan‘s “Introvert Party Club”, gaining 19.4% of the voting, whereas in third place it was Pam Rabbit‘s “Ghosting” on 13.9%.

The full results;

  1. Vesna – My Sister’s Crown (61.1%)
  2. Rodan – Introvert Party Club (19.4%)
  3. Pam Rabbit – Ghosting (13.9%)
  4. Maella – Flood (2.8%)
  5. Markéta Irglová – Happy (2.8%)

Will it indeed be Vesna in the end flying the Czech flag in May? We don’t have long left to wait to find out!
