I begin.

1.Belgium will be a shocking non-qualifier from 1st Semifinal.
2.Latvia will be a shocking non-qualifier from 2nd Semifinal.
3.Georgia will have their best result ever.
4.Slovenia will have their best result ever.
5.Lithuania will have their best result ever.

and something bonus:

Australia will compete last (27th) in the Final!

I'll have a go:

1. There will be no obvious/runaway winner (during voting, the top songs will keep changing places), unlike previous years,
2. There will be technical difficulties for Sweden (assuming they do the video backdrop thing) during either the Jury or Main performance, and controversy surrounding whether they get a second chance
3. Russia might get booed (again) but there's no way we'll hear it this time,
4. The UK entry will surprise everybody (hell, it getting any points would surprise some),
5. Australia will complete last in the final.

This is a wonderful topic. I love making outrageous predictions. I've gotten many right before. "Suus" for top 5, Cezar to sail through to the final, Conchita will win (the very moment her song was revealed), "Maybe" will make the final, Mei Finegold will flop and many more.

My five predictions for this year at the moment (subject to change).... let me just work the old magic ball here.. I see......... I see.....


1. The Netherlands spectacularly misses the final, coming right at the bottom of the semi (possibly last).
2. Moldova shocks and makes the final.
3. Finland comes top 5.
4. Malta gets top 10.
5. Latvia wins it.

I agree with you [MENTION=5532]GRE[/MENTION] about Belgium as well. I sadly see that happening. Slovenia just misses top 10 in the final is another one I fear.

Yeah, nice steal there I don't want this to happen though but I really fear it. I think the only reason Slovenia is so hyped this year is because we are short of charming, upbeat (dare I say slightly trashy) numbers. Everything is dull and Slovenia is like a beacon of light. I hope it can crack the top 10 but in a more varied year i'd see it sitting outside the top 10.

Your Norway prediction could happen. I agree that there won't be a runaway winner. However, I think Austria will sit just outside the top 10.

Oh yes, I forgot. Our bloc voting. Russia eat your heart out, we will definitely be getting 12's off Ireland, Malta and Australia, like we do every year.
