WV MOD APPLICATION
As all of you know Steph has left our team and while we are all thankful for her work and contributions, we must start the process of finding a new mod!
If you are interested please send a PM to the Worldvision account by providing detailed answers to the following Questions in a Q&A format:
1. Why do you want to become a WV Mod?
2. What, in your opinion, would make you a good WV Mod? You can also mention your characteristics and skills.
3. How much free time would you be able to dedicate to WV?
4. Which ideas do you have to make WV a better contest? Which problems do you recognize?
5. (optional) Anything else you might want to add about yourself?
NOTE: There will be a 2nd short practical test of some mock mod duties that you will also be required to fill out once your application has been received.
Here are some of the basic responsibilities:
1. Checking song eligibility
2. Managing roster and membership, updating List of Participants
3. Making decisions about various situations and updating the WV Rules
4. Helping our members with any query they may have
5. Warning members based on their behavior and breaking of the Forum Rules
6. Hosting LLs
Of course there are other, more specialised responsibilities but they will be discussed once a new mod is selected.
And also some desired skills (and characteristics):
1. Communication skills (nice, friendly and helpful to all the players)
2. Good understanding of our Forum and WV Rules
3. Dedicated and professional
4. Knowledge of the current WV roster (players, pots...)
Every single member, old or new, are invited to send in their application and give it a go. You have nothing to lose, so if you're interested in the position then please send an application in! Keep in mind there is only 1 position available and the mod team will consider some other factors when making their choices, so please don't be upset if you are not picked.
