that is so disingenuous. the map still shows molitva getting loads of 10s 8s all over even if all ex-yugoslavs gave it a 12. believe's map doesn't look as good but it still got less 12s than the average winner and needed points from all over europe to win.

meanwhile sweden this year still got 12s from all of their block but it also got top3 placements from almost everyone else so it fits your narrative. it's hilarious that you included last year's map though because it clearly shows a western block and all the eastern countries outside. i rooted for conchita as much as anyone else but i also don't have a provlem with voting blocks and a voting block made conchita win.

the only map that even comes close to show some diversity is 2013 and a) it's still west giving top 3 points to west and not east, b) that was the first year under the new system, before juries got shady.

so basically all the maps look equally geographically biased and the argument amounts to "juries are a necessary evil because western blocks get their way". gotcha.

The last three years show more geographic diversity than the maps from 2007 and 2008. This not just about East vs. West. Conchita got 12 points from many Western countries and not just from Austria's neighbors. Also Sweden got 12 points from a large number of Western countries that are geographically not close to Sweden. If you only look at West vs. East, the maps are less diverse, of course. In 2007, the top points are nearly exclusively from ex-Yugoslav countries and the Serbian diaspora. In 2008 the 12 points are from the ex-USSR. There's also diversity within the groups of countries that are referred to as "east" or "west".

I don't think so, EBU didn't reveal the voting even after numerous scandals in 2013, why would they do it now.
And I'm also pretty sure that Denmark didn't win the televoting that year.

These are the results for the semis with the old 50/50 system:

Semi 1

1. :ru: 185
2. :be: 150
3. :ee: 117
4. :ge: 97
5. :ro: 81
6. :gr: 79
7. :am: 74
8. :rs: 66
9. :al: 62
10. :hu: 59

11. :md: 44
12. :by: 40
13. :nl: 29
14. :mk: 28
15. :fi: 27
16. :dk: 25

Semi 2

1. :se: 216
2. :il: 158
3. :lv: 150
4. 125
5. :sl: 93
6. :cy: 77
7. :pl: 72
8. :lt: 69
9. :me: 53
10. :mt: 47

11. :az: 47
12. :ie: 36
13. :cz: 28
14. :pt: 20
15. :sm: 13
16. :is: 11
17. :ch: 3

With the old system, :mt: would have qualified for the final instead of :az: because :mt: got points from 11 countries and :az: only got points from 10.

A little update, this is the "old 50/50 system" result with the excluded jury results in Montenegro taken into account:

1. :se: 367
2. :it: 321
3. :ru: 292
4. :be: 221
5. :au: 160
6. :lv: 155
7. :ee: 103
8. :il: 87
9. 86
10. :al: 65
11. :am: 60
12. :rs: 58
13. :ge: 53
14. :ro: 46
15. :az: 42
16. :sl: 39
17. :me: 37
18. :lt: 29
19. :gr: 25
20. :cy: 18
21. :hu: 16
22. :pl: 15
23. :es: 10
24. :uk: 5
25. :at: 4
26. :fr: 3
27. :de: 3

For the most, only academic changes but some things worth mentioning. If the jury votes would have been taken into account from :me:, :am: would have finished in 11th place and :rs: 12th, on the other hand the :7: :sl: got instead of :4: would have made them finish in 16th place and :me: themselves in 17th place
