There are two options here: she may open the Grand Final (which is unlikely, people in Spain are very late and performing at 9:15 pm wouldn’t be an advantage for the overall ratings at all), or for the third year in a row they put Spain 8th (big props, they need time to put them on stage so this has to be after a break).

I think the performance was solid, but the semi was so weak that anything decent can be solid. The song though… not much for me, although I wish her the best.

My prediction is around 50p in the juries and around 20p in the televote. Final placing 18th to 21st.

The performance convinced me. It was well constructed, the Spanish flavor was felt and Melody was able to dress well in the role of the diva. The voice convinced me less. A little uncertain at some moments. Perhaps the emotion played against it. Furthermore, I noticed about 10 changes in vocal register. An appreciable and virtuous way of elevating a weak song that has very little to give. I appreciated it but I understood even more furiously that the substance is not there. I think that at the end of the contest, Melody could be crowned as "Queen of the Bubble". I feel that she is the diva that a part of ESC lovers wait for every year.

I've been so against the revamped version of this song since it was revealed but my god I think Melody gave my favourite performance of the night xheat I think the song has a ceiling results-wise for sure but she's doing everything possible to sell it
Exactly my feeling - heck she could even end up in my Top 10 again in the final, with a few faves not impressing as much. Hell has frozen over xfaint

Great fashion, she's a good old diva, but the song is really old-fashion. It sounds like something Spain would have sent 20 years ago. So not really appealed by the lot.

I didn't like how they stripped away the lush, old fashioned orchestration for a dry, simplicistic electronic sound with the remake, but it seems the version they used now was.... slightly different than the studio version of the remake?

Anyway, an okay song and good performance but it falters for me as seeming kind of outdated and not bringing anything fresh at all. I actually liked the NF version because of how unashamedly ESC-retro it was, but in this version it just felt dull and lacking.

I think Spain along with France and some other countries have a recurring problem of seemingly taking themselves too seriously, down to the facial expressions and overall presentation of the artists. No matter what style they try to do, it often feels so stiff and old-fashioned, in a way you never see elsewhere. It's like they've never really embraced self-irony like most of Europe did in the mid-20th century, they've just kinda rejected that and think they can still go on with this pompousness that seems really alien and off-putting to the rest of Europe.

Nothing special really, everything was seen before already. Just like I said before - I think it will end somewhere between 20th and 26th place.

Not a fan of the song but she did her best with it in that performance. I don't think this is a song that can be elevated too much by performance and staging. It was all a bit forgettable.

Melody deserved better, but I could totally understand the score. I'm curious to see if some of those 10 points came from ROW.

RTVE must reformulate Benidorm Fest.

I kind of like it, but it just disappeared behind all the others in the final, as with Denmark.

Let it be a lesson to RTVE, Benidorm Fest has selected flops for 3 years running. It needs reform or else scrap it and go back to internal selections.

Spain is probably the only country that would benefit if they did a 100% jury vote national final.
Chanel only won in 2022 because the judges flopped Rigoberta and Tanxungeiras and this year the jury's favorites was J Kbello, who had a much stronger package overall and recently released this bop:

I'm soooooo happy our song tanked hard so that 'slay, queen' Spanish fans can see that old-fashioned trash does not score well. I will truly enjoy the season until next BF watching people complain about how Europe does not vote for us, when the reality is that Europe does not vote for crap like ours this year.

I even feel unfair that Iceland finished lower than us, bc it was a way greater song!!!!!

Melody talifans, enjoy the result 😘

I still like the song and would sing it in karaoke unlike other ¨very good songs¨.
