For some reason I find the direction they took with the staging very intriguing, from the photos and the part of the video with the bridge the dancers look almost scary to me and the whole performance gives me a very eerie feeling which I really like and I think it fits with the song's lyrics. I'm not sure if it will work with everyone and I think that some might find it a bit depressing if it's how I imagine it but it works for me.
