A little announcement: Next time I will update this on next week's Monday or Tuesday. Reason of this is, because my sisters are visiting here, so I won't be able to update the results of OGAE Poll.

I updated today, so 16 countries have been voted and 27 countries are left to vote. Italy is leading at the moment, Sweden 14 points behind Italy and Spain is third with 115 points.

OGAEs only real purpose is for us to gamble on which of their final top didn't even make it to the final.

OGAE Germany has up to date pre-results. They will be officially added when all members have voted. Spain is not doing so well in this poll so far and the Germans are not excited about their own song this as usual. Greece doing very poorly here.

Why am I not surprised that Italy is running away with it for the fourth time in 8 years?

Whoever reaches the top position of the OGAE Contest Poll has a 33% percentage to win the ESC, 60% to enter the Top 3, 70% to enter the Top 5 and 90% to enter the Top 10. So far only Sweden 2008 and Hungary 2011 disappointed expectations.

Winning the OGAE Contest Poll does not indicate sure success but most of the time determines that the nation is competitive.

I am very happy that Italy is enjoying success and by winning the OGAE 2022 (fourth success) it would be able to overtake Sweden and Denmark in this special ranking.

With today's votes from Andorra, Poland and Iceland Sweden takes a lead by one point. Italy is second place with 235 points. Spain still is third place with 178 points. There are 18 countries left to vote.
