This is way too much for me. I didn't enjoy anything here as much as I tried to find something positive. Maybe it has a chance for a good score if it does really well on the televoting but I am pretty sure it will tank with the juries.

I've been a Eurovision fan since 1990, when I attended my very first contest in Zagreb. Over the years, like many fans, I've had my favorites - and plenty of songs that weren’t quite to my taste. But very few that I truly disliked. "Hate" is a strong word I rarely use when it comes to Eurovision entries.

That said, this year’s Maltese entry is the first song since Ireland’s 2008 entry (Irlande Douze Pointe) that I find genuinely hard to tolerate. I personally find it inappropriate and unappealing, both in tone and language. I respect artistic freedom, but I truly don’t want to see this in the final - or even in the contest.

I’m trying not to be cruel, but I really wish this one ends at the bottom of the scoreboard!

The MESC staging with the cheesy Sound of Music dancers and references was so much better. But I'm still glad she qualified for the GF considering all the hyper and pre-parties throughout the ESC season.

I guess the muted crowd is the necessary evil in these non-peaceful times, but the song qualified and the goal was reached. xxclap

No, it's really not. What is the point of a live audience if they can't be heard at all? Public reaction sometimes enriches an act, it's a live experience after all. Once again, the contest has to suffer because of that country. Toxic positivity at its best.

Who would have thought that Malta does fairly well with the juries (!) and so poorly with the public! Maybe we underestimate the publics taste.

I could tell this song was my top favorite before the contest but the staging was just so uninteresting, I didn't even feel captivated to watch it again during the final. Quickly faded for me among other greater performances through the week.
