1. Twin Peninsulas:
Names of the two Peninsulas are Lefteer, with its main city Lelis, and Righteer, with its main city Rilis. This is one of the areas with the most urban population (over 90%). One of the reasons for this is the great rivalry between the cities, biggest in the whole country.
It all began long time ago, when Llama Republic didn’t even exist. There were 2 men Larouge and Ripley, best friends ever. They and their families each lived on their respective Peninsulas, growing crops. Cherries were popular on Lefteer, as were Raspberries on Righteer, and they grew enough of them to feed the entire island. They lived peacefully and quietly, helping each other and trading crops and other things. But one spring, as foreigners arrived to island in search of adventure and fortune, they brought something the land has never seen before – the stink bugs. Soon they came to peninsulas too. All would end well if the bugs haven’t started destroying cherry trees on Lefteer, and destroying them swiftly. Soon, all the cherry trees were destroyed, and the Larouge family was desperate. Next year they had to think of something else to sell, and they decided they would sell cherries, the climate seemed to be well, and as they heard, they were selling pretty well too. The Ripleys thought one cherry producer was enough for the island, and decided they would stop the Larouge to plant. And so…the rivalry began. A stupid fight became a war, and is present even now.
The cities are good copy-cats as well. As soon as something is made in one city, it gets made in the other, banks, supermarkets, airports…everything. Also some conservative norms are present in the cities, so a lot of young people tend to leave to villages in the area, or go to some other major city.
2. Northern Region:
The Northern Region is probably the most modern area of the Republic. Its capital city is Danpop City, second largest city in the country. The city itself was named by 2 genres of music – Dance and Pop, as they are most listened in the area. It is known for its boutiques, large supermarkets (it is home to the biggest national supermarket – LLAMArket (LMK)). It is also known as the first area to have wireless internet all over the territory. The biggest electronics company (Electronics of Llamas, Electronics of New-day (ELEN)) also has its main office here, and supplies entire country with its products, and exports some too. Danpop City is full of clubs too, so if you want to party all day and night, it is the place for you.
3. New Goestia:
New Goestia is part of the country where most new guests come first. It is mostly because its capital, Port Aloha, has the largest and most modern airport in the Republic. Along with being the “First destination” city, it is also knows and the Transport Capital of the country. It has great connection to almost all other regions, by river. sea, train or car. It has many gift shops and souvenir shops, as people were clever enough to know this is the best place to sell them. However, this region is second to selling souvenirs, as it has been beaten by Reef Shore. People are mostly nice and always willing to help a “newbie” start off well in their land.
4. Reef Shore:
Reef Shore is home to the most popular tourist destination, the Great Coral Fields, which attract more than 1.5 million tourists each year. Capital of the Area, Coralis, also attracts tourists. It is well known around the world as the city which is made entirely of corals and seashells. Houses, buildings, furniture, and even clothes and dishes, corals are used everywhere and are worshiped by the citizens. The Fields are said to be home to almost all known types of coral, of all colors and sizes. Citizens were worried that is they overused the corals, they would eventually use them all and there would be no more corals. However, they were wrong. For unknown reasons (but the scientist believe it is because of great water quality, and different streams) the corals are reproducing themselves extremely fast, so fast that the citizens can’t collect them fast enough. This is a blessing for the people in this area, and they are using it in best way possible.
5. Southern Peninsula:
Sothern Peninsula is, obviously, located on southern part of the island. Its capital is New South City, a city built after the original South City was destroyed in an earthquake. New name was considered for a long time, but finally New South City was chosen. It wasn’t only to honor the old city, but one contest as well. The Contest is NSC (New South City), which is very popular in Llama Republic. It is in fact most popular exactly in this area, since the NSC Finals get 99,891% or viewers. Because of this, New South City was named the NSC Capital of country and therefore hosts the NF of Llama Republic each time.
6. Lambada City:
Lambada City area includes the capital city of the country and surrounding towns. Lambada City is the largest and by far most populated city in Llama Republic. It is known as very modern city, with a lot of expensive boutiques, cafes, clubs etc. The city is famous for its long street, the Aurelia Zinde street (Zind for short), which is filled with places to shop and party. The city is also know for many sights, out of which the most popular is Dion Lighthouse, largest building which is 570m tall and is visible across the land.
7. Heart of the Land:
Named so because it is located in the center of island. Its capital is Srce, a town that got its name from Serbian word for Heart. This area has no extremely large cities, and its capital is second smallest capital in the country, however it is very important. This area is populated by some of the best llama breeders in the world. The Annual Llama Fair is hosted in Srce too. It is a place for all llama lovers or anyone actually, to come and have fun, play with llamas, eat, ride on rollercoasters etc.
8. Alumino Lake Area:
Alumino Lake got its name from Spanish word alumno, meaning pupil. The reasoning for this name is double. First reason is because the lake is placed on island so it resembles an eye, and also it is where the most well-known university of Llama Republic, Jovi Academy of Arts (JACA). The lake itself is known since the water in it is salty. This is probably because of the underground water tunnels which bring the water from the sea. The capital, Irisburg (another eye reference), is also known as Students Town, since most universities are located there, over 60%. Young people from all over the world come here to study.
9. Tears of Sun:
Tears of Sun are another interesting phenomenon connected to Llama Republic. Tears are a very small archipelago which consists of 12 islands. The interesting thing is that the islands…float…rotate. Probably because they aren’t firmly connected to the ground so the currents move them. They are named by months, January Island, February Island etc. Another interesting thing is the speed they move by. The rotation is so precise, that on 1st of January, January Island will be the closest to the Main, Llama Island, and then on 1st of February, February Island will be the closest. This has fascinated many scientists which have come to study this interesting phenomenon. The Capital of the area is Auguston, a town located on August Island.
10. Wetlands:
As the name suggests, Wetlands are the wettest part of country. It rains almost every day, so the climate is very good for Rainforest, which have developed throughout the area. Most of them are still unexplored, and Rainforests themself are protected by LPE (Llamas Protecting Environment) decision. The Rainforests are, in fact, so thick that they are almost impenetrable. Therefore, the only way to get to the area capital, Snotson, is by helicopter. There are plans for building an airport, but no work has started yet, however there are a lot of helipads. Snotson was built on Green Lake, which got its name by the color of water in it, which is partly natural and partly projected by a lot of green trees surrounding the lake. Entire area is a National Park.
11. Bardia
Bardia is an area which is consisted of Giris Peninsula and a bit of surrounding land. It got its name from beard, since it resembles a llama beard, or bard, a poet. Hellensville is the oldest city of the country. It is full of old monumental buildings which makes it good tourist destination. The music listened is mostly classical which is because people of this area like to live peacefully and quietly.
