You can use this topic to discuss anything related to the two weeks of Eurovision starting next Monday. ESC United will obviously be in Copenhagen live so any ideas, suggestions, recommendations are encouraged and appreciated!

We will do live updates on the first rehearsals (they are closed so no taping :( & meet the artists to ask them your questions.

We will also be there and tape all the open rehearsals and press conferences, we will be asking your questions as well so make sure to post your questions HERE.

While most of our onsite journalist (team of eight) will be focusing on the articles and social media, i will be checking in here as much as possible to listen to what your thoughts are and what we should do next. We want you to be as close to the fun as humanly possible. So any questions should be posted in this thread as I just won't have the time to check anything else.

We are also doing a daily vlog taking you behind the scenes, talk to other fans, media, the fans...show you around the city, Euro Club, Euro Cafe and just the little fun things you don't get to see elsewhere. Last year we caught Loreen sneaking in disguising as a volunteer, Valentina Monetta sneaking out of her hotel room to go shopping and Maltese fans almost dropping Gianluca when they cheerfully threw him into the air after qualifying for the Finals.

Please let us know if you have any ideas and suggestions on what else we should cover.

Feel free to use this topic to talk among yourselves as well and we will join in as much as possible, it is my goal to also do have a live cam though I need to look into the technical aspect of that.

Rehearsals start on Monday?! ESC is happening so fast this year, or I'm so out of touch!

Yes, ESC is a little earlier this year so the rehearsals obviously kick off prior to that.

May 1st is International Workers Day

Per wikipedia

Many people try to get a day off this day, and some even have it in their employment contract. Many people attend political meetings in the morning arranged by the labour unions or the labour parties, afterwards demonstrations are held all over the country, going from the place of the meeting and joining each other along the way to a joint meeting place, often a park.

So the organizers gave everyone the day off which actually sucks cause that means longer days the first few days.....oh well, sleep is overrated anyway.

Eurovision starts earlier, but it's already feeling like a long wait. Still, I'm excited for the rehearsals and, of course, the contest.

Will the points be next to the flag? That was something new... I still hope that the scoreboard sometime will feature the place numbers sp you can see how each country is placed during the whole show even if that's a bit naive to ask for XD
