-There will be 25 competitors (22 "Big" and 3 Sanremo Giovani winners):
Night 1 (first set of competing songs perform): 7 February
Night 2 (remaining songs perform): 8 February
Night 3 (all 25 songs perform): 9 February
Night 4 (Covers Night): 10 February
Night 5 (Final Night): 11 February
-The "Big" artists may start being announced starting 3 December by Amadeus through the media
-Covers Night will once again have eligible songs from the 60's-90's, both Italian and international, but all contestants must perform their cover songs with either the original artist or a duet partner/band.
-The first two nights, the press room will vote; Night 3 the demoscopic jury (50%) and televote (50%) will vote; Night 4 and 5 the press room (33%), demoscopic jury (33%), and televote (34%) will vote, and then a second round of voting for the top 3.
-Confirms that the winner of Sanremo 2023 will represent Italy at Eurovision and if they are unable to fulfill their duties the broadcaster at their discretion will select the Italian representative.
