Sophia is professional singer, she studied in the Georgian Philarmonic society.
In 2004 she worked in Russian Operetta theatre. In 2005 she participated in the New Wave fest (Jurmala, Latvia).
She participated in different presidential music events, she sang Georgian and American anthems last year when few American senators attended Georgia.

Have to say that she really has a great voice (and she looks nice too )

I hope that she will have some sort of a dynamic ballad, other than a static bland one.

It may be my favorite entry from Georgia so far, looking forward to hear the entry

23-year-old Sopho Nizharadze has been selected to represent Georgia at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest. The announcement has been made this morning at a press conference held by the country's broadcaster GPB.
Once again, the Georgian representative has been chosen internally. After last year's absence from the Eurovision Song Contest, the Caucasian country is back with Sopho Nizharadze, born in Tbilisi in 1986. Sopho is well-known in her home country, having gained recognition as actress, singer and songwriter.

Following the appointment of Sopho Nizharadze as Georgia's representative at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest, the national broadcaster GPB has launched a call for songs. The deadline has been set on February 3rd. A total of 5 entries will be selected to take part in a televised selection, to be held in late February.
