I'm hosting a new contest on my Twitter at https://twitter.com/EurovisionOf called 'Eurovision Best Of'.

A series of knock out polls will decide the entry for each of the 52 Eurovision countries from all of the entries they have entered into the contest (including 2020).

The 52 songs will then be split into two semi-finals of 26 songs each, and then a final of 26. These rounds will run like the Eurovision Champion of Champions we did in the summer. I will also host these rounds on this forum and you will then have the opportunity to vote for your favourites.

The main contest should start in August, which will also be run on this forum!

EUROVISION BEST OF
SEMI-FINAL 1

Welcome to the first semi-final of 'Eurovision Best Of'! A series of polls have now concluded on Twitter on account @EurovisionOf to decide the best entry from which country, which would go on to represent them in the main event.

As 52 countries have entered Eurovision throughout its history, we have 52 countries competing in this contest. The first 26 of these songs are presented this evening as part of our first semi-final. Only 13 of these songs will qualify to the Grand Final, alongside 13 songs from the second semi-final. We will then go on to discover which country will triumph and therefore the best Eurovision entry of all time!

The countries included in each semi-final were allocated randomly.

It is now time to kick off the first semi-final! I will present to you our first set of 26 songs, each of which drew their halves before we put together the best running order possible. Look out for the recap at the end of this post, which should hopefully help you decide.

To vote, you will need to PM me with your top 10, and points will be awarded in the usual Eurovision fashion (12, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1). Voting closes after a week, and the 13 songs with the most points will then advance to the final. Ties will be split in accordance with current Eurovision rules.

We are also hosting this competition on Twitter and will include votes from there too. If you also follow us on Twitter, please could you make sure you only vote in one place.

I could've voted for Loreen but I fell asleep as soon as the inkling of the thought crossed my mind. Ain't nothing more boring than Euphoria fandom/Swedish Patriarchy/Making Excuses that Melfest Isn't Sexist Although It Totally Is, etc.
