I full on shouted WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK when that happened. Literally, absolutely awful!! The public are a disgrace
I thought the Swiss song was decent, but that dramatic middle section sounded very forced. I definitely don't think it's the best composed song just because of that alone.

You wrote that like a 100 times now, we understood ;)

Yes that is indeed my opinion, glad you understand it!
One more time for in the back: not a fan of Wasted Love, would have preferred another winner

congrats though!

These enormous differences between jury and televote: Just an expression of the fact that tastes are different or a mistake in the voting system?

Both need serious revamps, clearly. I don't care for them being same-ish - we have two separate voting sources for a reason.

Televote needs to be more protected from scheming and juries need actual criteria to go by - maybe they have some but they are clearly not following it.

And I fell asleep throughout the whole voting process and waken up by JJ's speech. Is that Nemo? Oh my god

Their influence could be reduced. Like to 30%.

But there's another problem. I would accept the juries more if they voted for the best singers. But their criteria are too unclear.

I have a solution for the Israel problem: let them win, let them host and leave the arena empty: no fans, no flags, nothing. Or let your delegations withdraw alledging "security problems". This is the only way to go. Let them host their Eurovision alone. That is the only way for this thing to be on the point of order of EBU in their meetings.

Absolutely crazy and weird results honestly.

I am shocked that Estonia finished so high, 3rd, the jury vote was crazy as I thought they'd barely give any points and TV surprised me too, I thought we were already behind people voting en masse on such comedy acts. but I'd not be surprised if his online popularity and viral dance helped him a lot, the song's catchy and kinda funny but among my least favourites this year. I found the choreo itself better than the song itself.
