This song really needs a good spot in the final, because if they get up on the stage early, they will underperform in the televote like Israel (or Austria) last year. It's just not memorable or unique enough. The jury will likely help them to get into the Top20.

Strong, memorable acts can survive that. I mean, Estonia 2015 was 5th in the televote and they were 4th in the running order.

Look, let's be realistic. Cesàr has fulfilled his mission. He had to qualify for the final, to safe the tv ratings of the national broadcaster ORF on Saturday. Nobody on the executive floor of ORF wants him to win. Of course they would never admit it. He is exempt from this pressure and will perform much better on saturday.
Wouldn't it be funny to look at the faces of the executive floor of ORF when he wins?

Funny how everybody claims now that they rejected the song. The Swiss Selectors also claimed that they rejected Nobody but You.
It is a kind of "no buyer’s remorse".

Austria 2018 reminds me a lot of Norway 2017. A great production that flies under the radar of insiders into the Top 10 of the Grand Final. Because the song works so well with the regular folks outside the bubble, while the Eurofans stick to fuego, drama and circus as usual.

And therefore, you can only use Itunes when you have an Iphone or other apple stuff, right?
And not everyone has apple stuff, right? Only people who are rich and are willing to pay for just a smartphone like all other smartphones that's just fancy because it's an Iphone, or people who save up for it because it is cool, in general: a certain demographic? Therefore, the buys on Itunes don't really say anything as only a small percentage of the population actually can do it?
