Broadcaster Suspilne has announced 5 finalists for Ukraine’s Junior Eurovision Selection 2023. The final list includes:
- 3’Beauties
- Polina Babiy
- Anastasia Belibova
- Denys Grushyuk
- Anastasia Demyd
These finalists were chosen from the long list of 10 initially selected competitors. The jury panel who selected these finalists included representatives of music industry such as former Vidbir competitors Khayat and Demchuk, and pianist/composer Yevhen Khmara.
Music producer Svitlana Tarabarova shared that it wasn’t easy to choose 5 finalists. She wanted to keep everyone and the final 5 finalists are diverse and strong. She believes that anyone from the finalists can represent Ukraine decently in Nice.
Ukraine’s Junior Eurovision Selection 2023 final is expected to be in October this year and will be broadcasted as an online concert. After that, the final of Junior Eurovision 2023 will be held in Nice, France on November 26th. Last year in Junior Eurovision 2022, Ukraine finished 9th scoring 111 points.
