It’s time for our final poll of the week, this time featuring the legendary national final Melodifestivalen! This week is the second of five heats, featuring a mix of familiar names like Maria Sur and LIAMOO and four Melfest newcomers.
The snippets for all six songs were released today on the official Melfest website and can be listened to below:
- Maria Sur – “When I’m Gone”
- Engmans Kapell – “Norrland”
- Dear Sara – “The Silence After You”
- C-Joe – “Ahumma”
- LIAMOO – “Dragon”
- Fröken Snusk – “Unga & fria”
This means it’s now time for you to vote on your two favorites to advance “direkt till finalen” on Saturday night. Ready….set…..let the voting begin!
The official qualifiers for the Melodifestivalen final will be selected by a 100% televote process, with results divided by age groups. The qualifiers will be determined through two rounds of voting, with the overall televote winner being announced first, and then a second round of televoting taking place to determine the second qualifier. All songs placing in 2nd and 3rd place in the second round will advance to the run-off vote after Heat 5, where two songs will gain a “second chance” for the final.
The show is set to kick off at the traditional 20:00 CET and can be viewed on SVT Play.
