Semi-final 2 of the Serbian national final Pesma Za Evroviziju has just taken place. We enjoyed 14 more acts who competed for 8 places in the Grand Final on Saturday (March 2nd). As a reminder, on Tuesday, we found out which 8 acts qualified from semi-final 1.

Our main hosts remained the same, Dragana Kosjerina and Slaven Došlo, while in the green room, Kristina Radenković and Stefan Popović interviewed all the artists.

Here is the overview of tonight’s show.

  • Nadia – Sudari

Nadia opened the show with her entry half in Serbian and half in English, a passionate black and red staging and a staircase in the center of the stage.

  • Hydrogen – Nemoguća Misija

Hydrogen brought a cozy living room atmosphere onto the stage. Their entry sounded like a retro rock entry with soft vocals and a lovely love message.

  • Iva Lorens – Dom

At first, we thought that Iva would take us on the journey through the haunted house but soon the song turned into a dark pop number with toned-down vocals. The split she did during the dance break took us by surprise for sure.

  • Zejna – Najbolja

Zejna entered the building in a huge white jacket and as soon as she took it down, her self-empowering message came through. The combination of electro elements and turbo-folk was accompanied by energetic performance.

  • Filip Baloš – Duga Je Noć

Another familiar name on the PZE stage. Just like last year, Filip came with another modern and freshly produced entry with a unique but recognizable rhythm, black-and-white staging, and a compelling office stage concept.

baloš

  • Nemanja Radošević – Jutra Bez Tebe

A lovely ballad with a dancer in white soon because a dramatic performance with several dancers wearing all black, dancing around Nemanja while he sings his song with passion.

  • Yanx – Kolo

Neon pink, green, and blue outfits and stage lights, combined with great energy and whispery vocals made this entry stand out amongst the others.

  • Kat Dosa – Tajni Začin

Kat Dosa brought the heat with a provocative performance, surrounded by 5 dancers in circus-inspired outfits.

  • Džordži – Luna Park

Džordži’s pop-rock performance was also inspired by some gothic elements, especially in the outfits of the band members. He brought strong vocals to the stage and some stunning white & black visuals.

  • Dušan Kurtić – Zbog Tebe Živim

A true turbo-folk realness with a distinctive recognizable Balkan singing style. Alongside Dušan, we could see two dancers and a lot of gold and black visuals on the LED screens.

  • Teya Dora – Ramonda

Teya Dora brought the magic with a mesmerizing stage with smoke, and intense, yet delicate lights. Her strong presence was especially visible during the chorus where she harmonized perfectly with the backing vocalists.

  • Konstrakta – Novo, Bolje

A Eurovision 2022 performer Ana Đurić, also known as Konstrakta performed in a very similar fashion like two years ago. Instead of clapping, this entry has a different signature hand move “waving”. The fast-paced rhythm and unique stage concept made this entry stand out.

  • Milan Bujaković – Moje-Tvoje

Another heartfelt ballad with a blue staging inspired by water elements. Milan already competed twice in PZE, will this be his year?

  • Durlanski – Muzika

One of the most unique entries of the evening brought a dose of rap in combination with a jazzy trumpet and retro effects on stage.

VOTING

As in previous years, voting was done via both a public vote and a jury vote, with a 50% weighting given to each, to decide the winner.

INTERVAL ACT

Luke Black, a Serbian representative from 2023 who finished in 24th place in the Grand Final performed one of his most popular songs “God’s Too Cool” followed by “Chainsaws in Paradise”.

After the video tribute to entries that finished second at Eurovision, Sanja Vučić of The Hurricane fame (2021) performed Kärijää’s Cha Cha Cha (2023). Speaking of Hurricane, the new line-up of the popular band performed Eleni Foureira’s Fuego (2018). Next up, Princ performed Mahmood’s Soldi (2019).
