The final revamped version of Besa’s song “TiTAN”, the Albanian entry for Eurovision 2024, has officially been released on Besa’s official channel.

Besa confirmed after winning Festivali i Këngës that her entry “Zemrën n’dorë” would undergo a revamp ahead of Malmö, and today the official revamped version of her Eurovision song titled “TiTan” has been released on streaming platforms.

You can listen to the new version below:

“TiTAN” is essentially a brand new song in comparison to it’s FiK counterpart, with very few features of the original left. While the entry now features new lyrics entirely in English, they are not the translated lyrics from “Zemrën n’dorë”. Instead Besa and her songwriters took the opportunity to completely rewrite the lyrics and message of the entry ahead of Malmö. The rap section of the entry has remained as the entry’s second verse.

The revamp also features significant changes to the overall instrumentation of the track, stripping back the piano melodies at the beginning to leave just haunting chords, with the additions of strings and drum beats being introduced throughout the first chorus.

The second verse is the featured rap section that brings in a more driving beat and production, leading into the climactic bridge and final chorus. The melodic lines of the first verse have also changed, but the chorus is only slightly altered.

Albania is set to compete in the first half of the Second Eurovision 2024 semi-final in Malmö, Sweden, which will feature a 100% televote qualification process. Last year Albania was represented by Albina and Familja Kelmendi who placed 22nd in the Grand Final.
