After all artists had performed once this week, we asked #YOU to pick who should represent Italy from this year’s Sanremo line-up! And #YOU certainly haven’t disappointed us with your response!

We have now tallied the votes, and we can reveal that there is a clear favourite – #YOU want Marco Megoni to return to Eurovision, ten years after his participation in Malmö!

With “Due vite”, Marco’s heartfelt performance has earned a staggering 32.4% of the votes in our poll, across 28 artists, and is the clear ESC United readers’ favourite to take the Sanremo title tonight and return to the Eurovision Song Contest!

In second place, we have Madame with “Il bene ne male” with 13.2%, and perennial fan favourite Elodie is third with “Due” earning 8.1% of the vote.

The readers’ top five is completed by Colapesce & Dimartino‘s “Splash” with 7.4%, and Mr. Rain‘s “Supereroi” with 5.9%.
