The dress rehearsals are finally upon us! Let’s go through all of them one by one and give you some more details about all of the performances! Buckle up and get through all of the 16 performances today!!

Note: Images and videos will be added once they go online on the official channel.

Country: Cyprus
Act: Andrew Lambrou
Song: “Break a Broken Heart”
Semifinal: Second (11/05/2022)
Position in Running Order: 06/16

The song starts off with a bit of a narrow camerashot and some darkblue tones and smoke around Andrew. At the first big note a waterfall appears behind him. He then walks forward to the satellite stage. For the second chorus the waterfall gets bigger.

After the second chorus he continues his little walk to the satellite stage and the colours turn from blue to red and a couple of fire elements get lit up in the background. Around Andrew we also see flamethrowers spewing out fire to end of the song.

Country: Iceland
Act: Diljá
Song: “Power”
Semifinal: Second (11/05/2022)
Position in Running Order: 07/16

We start off with a shot that is very close to Diljá. She is sat on the ground and all around her we see green vines. At the buildup to the first chorus she lies down as well. She then gets up with a one-handed cartwheel. The colours turn to pink and blue colours.

She makes her way to a small platform in the middle. The cameraman walks around her while she strikes some poses on that platform. At the final chorus and vocal showcase the lights turn off and then a disco-like buzz appears. She ditches her jacket for the final chorus and she runs back to the tiny platform to finish off the song.

Country: Greece
Act: Victor Vernicos
Song: “What They Say”
Semifinal: Second (11/05/2022)
Position in Running Order: 08/16

Victor sits down in the beginning after which he immediately lies down and projections of himself glitch from left to right around him with letters as well. For the first chorus he jumps around and you see a big version of Victor on the big LED.

In the bridge we see multiple victor clones on the LED where random words that are being said at the end of sentences appear on the LED as well. The song basically continues to go on like this until the ending where Victor ends it off on the satellite stage.

Country: Poland
Act: Blanka
Song: “Solo”
Semifinal: Second (11/05/2022)
Position in Running Order: 10/16

We start off with a clickboard and a fisheye lens filming Blanka and her dancers. In the first chorus we see the hands in purple on the back LED doing the movements. The second verse sees Blanka on the led singing the song with 2 dancers in front of it.

For the second chorus the staging changes to a beach setting and we get some pyro fountains surrounding her. For the dance break everything turns red and we see some glitching versions of her following her as an overlay. Before the final chorus they make their way back to the main stage, the lights turn to orange and purple again.

Country: Slovenia
Act: Joker Out
Song: “Carpe Diem”
Semifinal: Second (11/05/2022)
Position in Running Order: 11/16

The song starts off focused on Bojan without many instrumentals. He snaps his fingers and the beat starts playing. Towards the first chorus we see the bandmembers mime out the little high pitched vocals. The chorus kicks off with the drummer introducing it by throwing his hands in the air.

With the guitarsolo on the walkway we see both guitarists back to back. They move away to reveal Bojan standing there again. Most of the song is being performed on the satellite stage which would look good with the crowd around it, they really play off of that. It does feel a bit crowded though. The ending sees all of the bandmembers form a line with arms around each other.

Country: Georgia
Act: Iru
Song: “Echo”
Semifinal: Second (11/05/2022)
Position in Running Order: 12/16

Interestingly we also get Georgia in this batch. She starts off with a white cloak around her. She throws that backwards at the start of the first verse. There is a lot of smoke surrounding her. There are 2 LED screens very far forwards. The lighting is very blue with a hint of grey.

She kneels down for the bridge in the middle of the song. The windmachines get turned up as well in the second chorus. In the final chorus the colours turn into pink and gold. The song ends with a close up of her
