You could feel a slight change in the tone of the show from the moment the orchestra began to play the first song: tonight the competition was in full swing and everyone was giving it their all.
Unlike the first two nights, when the results were determined by the press alone, tonight’s rankings include the public televote and a demoscopic jury. The demoscopic jury was made up of 1000 regular people who are meant to reflect the demographics of the general public.
The combined ranking of the press vote, televote, and demoscopic jury at the end of Night 3 was:
- Marco Mengoni – Due vite
- Ultimo – Alba
- Mr. Rain – Supereroi
- Lazza – Cenere
- Tananai – Tango
- Madame – Il bene nel male
- Rosa Chemical – Made in Italy
- Colapesce Dimartino – Splash
- Elodie – Due
- Giorgia – Parole dette male
- Coma_Cose – L’addio
- Gianluca Grignani – Quando ti manca il fiato
- Modà – Lasciami
- Paola e Chiara – Furore
- LDA – Se poi domani
- Ariete –Mare di guai
- Articolo 31 – Un bel viaggio
- Mara Sattei – Duemilaminuti
- Leo Gassmann – Terzo cuore
- Colla Zio – Non mi va
- Levante – Vivo
- I Cugni di Campagna – Lettera 22
- Gianmaria – Mostro
- Olly – Polvere
- Anna Oxa – Sali (canto dell’anima)
- Will – Stupido
- Shari – Egoista
- Sethu – Cause perse
Despite some variation from last night’s press-only ranking, the top spot remains unchanged with Marco Mengoni staying the favorite so far!

Other moments and highlights
The musical intervals brought star power early on with a performance from Eurovision 2021 winners Måneskin, who played a mix of English and Italian hits like “I Wanna Be Your Slave”, “Zitti e buoni”, and “The Loneliest”.
Singer-songwriter Annalisa gave a cool and modern performance of a new single “Belissima” on the outdoor stage later on. Annalisa has participated in Sanremo five times – in 2013, 2015, 2016, 2018, and 2021. Her highest placement was in 2018 when she came third with the song “Il mondo prima di te”.
Other performances tonight included the rapper Guè who performed on the cruise ship Costa Smeralda, a quick duet between Gianni Morandi and Sanremo 2021 alum Sangiovanni (he placed 5th that year), and a solo performance from Massimo Ranieri who we saw during the ‘trio of music legends’ interval last night.
