After a long marathon of 5 weekly shows, Malta has finally managed to cut it down from a full total of 36 songs, and now down to only 12 songs. In the past 4 weeks, viewers were presented to 9 songs each week, and now here in the fifth week, it was finally time for the long awaited results.

Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2024 – XOW Week 5/Results

The weekly show named “XOW“, has finally guided viewers through all songs, and has now aired it’s final Eurovision related show, for now. Going forward, the 12 finalists will be working on creating music videos for their entries, which will be broadcasted in January during the national final.

The following 12 acts can look forward to a busy winter, working on preparing their entries best as possible, they are: (Ordered by qualification)

  • Miriana Conte – “Venom
  • Sarah Bonnici – “Loop
  • Greta Tude – “Topic(Bla Bla)
  • Janvil – “Man
  • Haley Azzopardi – “Tell Me That Is Over
  • Ryan Hili – “Karma
  • Erba’ – “Sirena
  • Nathan – “Ghost
  • Denise Mercieca – “Mara
  • Matt Blxck – “Banana
  • Gail Attard – “Wild Card
  • Lisa Gauci – “Breathe

The show tonight was actually broadcasted live, unlike in prior weeks, where the show was pre-recorded. That way everyone, as well as the acts themselves, could learn together who would progress. Of course, there was still room for some happy singing-along.

Voting was once again opened as well during the show, so viewers could vote during the re-caps.

Taking a quick look at the results, 3 of the qualifiers came from the 1st and 2nd show each, while the remaining 6 qualifiers came from the 4th show. Sadly, everyone who performed in the 3rd show, were eliminated with the rest of the field.
