French Broadcaster France Télévisions has revealed several details today at a press conference regarding the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023 that take place at the Palais Nikaïa in Nice on Sunday 26 November

Junior Eurovision Stage – Stage Renders – France Télévisions

During the press conference, detailed drawings of the Junior Eurovision stage have been revealed by the French Broadcaster. The 16 acts will compete on a 30 metre stage that features a 12 metre high screen in the shape of wings, reflecting the desire to fly away, create and imagine. We can’t wait to see this stage come to live in Nice!

The hosts are ready

Talking us through the Junior Eurovision Song Contest on this big stage are Olivier Minne & Laury Thilleman. They will be hosting the show on the 26th of November.

You probably will remember Olivier from hosting the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2021 in Paris. This year he’s back and bringing Laury with him. She’s a French journalist and was crowned Miss France in 2011. In recent years, she host events for France Télévisions like Victoires de la Musique and the Fête de la Musique. 

The Opening Ceremony

But the real party can only start with a good Opening Ceremony. On Monday 20 November the 16 acts are walking the red carpet on the famous Promenade des Anglais. The ceremony itself will take place at the Le Negresco and will be broadcasted on France 4 and the official Junior Eurovision YouTube Channel.

About Junior Eurovison Song Contest

Following Lissandro’s victory at Junior Eurovision in Yerevan with the song Oh Maman! – France’s second win in three years – France Télévisions will organize the Contest at the Palais Nikaïa in Nice. 16 countries will compete to win the Junior Eurovision Song Contest on the on the 26th of November at 16:00 CET.
