Oh, such a great show! 
And a small trivia about the
song. It was selected to represent Greece at ESC 1986. It had the draw #18 (between Sweden and Denmark), but a few weeks before the contest, ERT decided to withdraw, cause they realised that the 3rd of May 1986 was the day before the Orthodox Easter. 
The song is perfornned by the absolute 80s icon Polina - she was at the backing vocals for Greece in 1979 - and it's composed by Charis Chalkitis, father of Victoria Challkiti, the ESC backing vocalist veteran for Greece and other countries too.

So here's how this spin-off went for me...
My went to a song that I sung endlessly on a summer holiday to Spain with my parents with I was 6 years-old; even earned a 500 peseta tip for serenading a nearby lady whilst I slept on the beach - sing-sleeping, cos that's how I rolled!
My is one of my favourite melodies of the 80s - utterly timeless, and dramatic, and definitely a formative song in my teen years as I realised I wanted to have that very same feeling as the lyrics in the song described...
My was always an anthem - one of my mum's faves, and would always get her right up on the dancefloor at any parties!
My has such vivid memories of all those summer holidays with my family again, since it would always be the first song you'd hear playing on the airplane tannoy before take-off as you boarded. Super-random, but such a strong childhood memory.
And my - that was one of my Uncle Jim's favourite songs. He'd play it in his car stereo while on our Sunday drives to Largs to watch the sail boats and enjoy a yummy ice-cream overlooking the sea.
God the memories - the first 7 years of my life, and they were a gooooood 7 years

Most of the songs I recognized immediately, of course growing up in the 80s they were songs I heard often. The video for "Dancing in the Dark" introduced the world to a young Courteney Cox, as she was the one who got pulled up on stage by Bruce to dance with him
