:gr: 32% and during the voting went up to 50%. The viewing figures were good, even without Greece!

:uk: Final

averaged 7.2 million
Peaked 8.3 million

Last year only 6.7 million watched, so it's an improvement, but still not as high as in 2014.

I feel like if the UK could score high or send a well-known artist just once, we could see figures of 10M+. Wonder if the BBC will splurge.

Well Molly managed to get audiences to peak above 10M. Whereas the year before, world famous singer Bonnie Tyler didn't get close, If I remember correctly - I think even 2014 had like 40%+ share of the audience. The thing is with the UK, people act like they don't care about Eurovision but every year millions of people tune in to watch it - the semi's only get such low figures because they don't advertise them, even this year they read out a comment saying that people had only just realised this years that the semi's existed. The drop in 2015 was because we all knew our song was a sack of sh*t and would sink to the bottom, so people didn't even see the point in watching, same with our record low in 2010. If we have a good song that people like, people will watch.

Average - 4,3M - 29,8% (10% less than last year, worst rating since 2007)
Peak - 6M - 37,7% (during Barei's performance)
Voting - 4,8M - 34,5%
Over 8,8M watched Eurovision at some point.

I'm trying my best to get the figures for the USA. Might be tonight, or it might be sometime tomorrow.

Broadcast (final) reached a total of 1 392 000 viewers with an average of 675 000.

These numbers are for TV-viewers only. The combined numbers for TV + online live stream are usually published a couple of weeks later.

It'll be tomorrow when I can know and let y'all know about the USA figures. That is because TV By The Numbers, the website I'm using, usually releases the cable TV (Logo is a cable TV network, as you may have known by now) ratings for Saturdays on Tuesdays. I wouldn't know why, but I can probably guess that it's because we're a huge country with a lot of households with TVs (115 million to be exact). I have what I think is a good, college-educated guess on the viewership, and while I won't say what it is, I will say that I'll be amazed if the actual number is in the six-figure range (100,000+).

Okay - finally we have the complex viewing figures from Poland. I posted before only SF2 and Grand Final, there is a summury:

:pl:

Semi-Final I - 1 964 822 (14,46%)
Semi-Final II - 3 842 057 (29,10%)
Final - 5 092 451 (41,66%)
Peak of the final - 6.320.000 (42,72%) - Michał Szpak's perforormance

This is number of viewers from two channels - TVP1 and TVP Polonia, both of them aired ESC live.

There is a table with viewing figures for previous editions but only on TVP1 (without TVP Polonia):

+ in 2004 - 6.677.000 (51,8%)
+ in 2003 - 8.369.000 (65%)

So, this is the best year since 2004. :)

:ee:

SF1 - 224k
SF2 - no idea, not in weekly top 10 (less than 126k)
GF - 175k

And for comparison, Eesti Laul 2016:

SF1 - 212k
SF2 - 217k
GF - 292k

Eesti Laul > Eurovision Song Contest

Edit: forgot to mention these numbers are only for the main ETV channel, it was also live broadcasted on Russian-language ETV+.

Finally got the viewer count for the USA from a comment on Showbuzz Daily. Drumroll, please:

:us:: 52k viewers

I thought it'd be a bit more (my guess was 80,000, if you must know), but this is a start. It's not what I guessed, but it wasn't at 10,000 or less either, so that's good.

That's not bad start considering it's aired on a Saturday afternoon (started at 3pm in the East Coast) in a very niche cable channel. I realized I wasn't subscribed to Logo through my cable provider but I was able to watch it via their live stream on Logo.tv. I wonder how many people watched the live stream on Logo's website?

Pretty impressive for a first go in the States! OUTtv didn't show this year's contest here in Canada where it only aired about a month later the last 2 years, word has it that they're looking to go live next year and hopefully with better commentators - fans apparently didn't like the previous ones talking over everything or having very little knowledge about the songs or artists
