My fridge is even rated A++, but Sweden's performance is of course cooler than ice. The love for this song humbles me as well, and I think it is fair to say now that Sweden will qualify and likely finish in the Top 20. The only thing that stands between Sweden and this historic success is Slavko Kalezic. Whose everlasting piece of art will resonate more? I really dont know.

Speaking of maths. The odds for Italy are 1 divided by 2. The field is divided by 26 participants. So, one participant equals 1/26 of the field.
Likelihood of a win for Italy > the other 25/26 of the field.
You do know he was sarcastic? talk about missing the Point

Still I must admit that you must really care for our entry this year since you are talking so much about it ;)

Best post ever.

I hope no one took my post as sarcastic, because I was honest and serious.

It must be really fun hating on other countries entries?

I must admit that I really must be in the Top 20 of your all-time favourite users.

But of course you are right. Hating other countries entries is so much fun:

I only registered to tell the world how much I love Blackbird.

:p

And love for the own entry is so 1944:

Because the song as it is, is utterly boring and inconspicuous. I can't believe ORF comes up with this after Conchita and Zoe.

Would not be surprised if we're back up near the icy pole in 2018

:az: in 2010 and :fr: in 2011 had a similar situation to what is now :it:

4th in the odds (but we are probably gonna be passed by :am: very shortly), which is good, top 10 feels quite safe, and we might still have a good chance of sneaking into a 4th or 5th Place in the final result

Polls doesn't matter, I was talking about odds

Even from that perspective it doesn't change the fact that the examples you gave are not comparable. Neither France nor Azerbaijan have been that strong consistently as is Italy now. It's much more like in the case of Alexander Rybak or Loreen.

Indeed, Sammy is right.

We might make it into top 5 but if we manage that, it will be 4th or 5th Place, otherwise it will be somewhere between 6-10th Place.

One good thing is that Robin don´t have a simular act to compete with, (thinking about handsome guy singing a dance RnB pop song) :me: and :il: are more disco, or am I totally wrong?
