Mirela is my guilty pleasure. I usually end up voting three years in a row for Spain in the final, but if it were not for Mirela this year, I definitely would not. She is my only choice.

Contigo is a real party banger, cheerful, pleasant, fun!


Overall, I am very disappointed in RTVE selection process. They had superior songs in the wildcard race that got nixed by an incompetent jury.

The national final should include besides Mirela Javián, Nieves Hidalgo and Rebeca. All four are so perfect compared to the rest.

Many people thought the NF was today, but the fact is that TVE never gave that date. I only saw it on Wikipedia and then everywhere except in Spain,

What I meant is that TVE never announced the NF was today, as many sites said. But actually, February 12th is not officially confirmed by TVE either. According to the media, they plan to do it that day, but TVE promos just say "very soon".

Enjoy the pre-Spanish NF days while you can.

Because after that, eurofans will all hype their own song and influence the YT tops and you will see the Spanish song in all top 10s.

Then they'll get 22nd in the Grand Final and will all say that Europe is shit.

Then it'll start again the next year.

BTW finally it seems the final will be February 11th. It's not confirmed though.

On the other hand, why is this myth about Spanish eurofans overhyping their own entries? I don't think there's any nation in the universe more self-destructive than Spain (this is especially dramatic when it comes to Eurovision, but it applies to every facet of life). If you hear anyone bashing Spain or anything Spanish, be sure he's a Spaniard. Actually the biggest haters of some of our entrants came from inside and with Ruth and Edurne this went beyond limit.
