If Russia isn't taking part at this year's ESC, then write it down.I'm debating whether to put the artist's name on now but we'll have to see how the next month pans out...
Prikhodko, Nalitch, and the grannies. I'm so agree with thisThey should go back to having a public selection!
Ahh yes, Russia and its state bodies are paragons of fairness.it has to be Julia...it's the only fair thing to do
Seems a bit premature. What if Ukraine wins and hosts again? The First Channel General Director confirmed that Yulia Samoilova will represent Russia in 2018: "It's been already discussed with the EBU. They know that Russia will be represented by Yulia Samoilova".
Will Ukraine be able to take part? From what I have seen the law states they may not broadcast a performance of someone who has been to Crimea by using a route other than Ukraine. It didn't seem an issue with JESC when the Russian representatives performed in Crimea but Ukraine still broadcast the performance, unless I am wrong? The First Channel General Director confirmed that Yulia Samoilova will represent Russia in 2018: "It's been already discussed with the EBU.
