Might change after the revelation of the split results

:ba: > :ru: (Idk, I was disappointed Russia pretty much just did a copy paste of the bad winner of last year as an in-your-face response to the Polina "artistic talent vs. visual folclore" robbery of last year. I suppose they have the right but I would have expected quality as usual, not this cheap trick. The song at least seems less cheesy than Heroes but right now looking at what went through in Semi 1 once again it does stand in bottom 3 of the less artistically talented acts of this year so far)

How many am I allowed?
:sm: --> :hu: Favorite of the semi for least favorite of the semi - no connection; just how I'm going to fit them in.
:ba: --> :cy: For spectacle, I'd rather have the super kitschy :ba:.
:fi: --> :mt: The :fi: performance felt like it had a lot more energy and heart to it than Malta did last night.
:is: --> :az: :is: hit more than 1 note out of her first 78. Azerbaijan making it was still good for the lulz, though.
:me: --> :nl: The :me: gentlemen felt like they cared a lot more about their song and its subject matter than Douwe.
:md: --> :at: Lidia sang her lungs out and earned the "THAT QUALIFIED?!" spot a lot more than Zoe did. Should've sent Quel Filou, Austria! NONO

In case GianlucaTomoe comes back, NB that I've only replaced men for men and women for women

:fi: >> :nl: I do like Slow Down but Sing It Away slayed so hard. Sandhja was amazing.
:md: >> :cz: I don't know what everyone sees in this. I got bored by the Czech performance, even if Gabriela is a very talented vocalist. Lidia put her heart and soul into her three minutes and apparently surprised everyone with how good she was.
:is: >> :at: No idea how Zoe qualified after her performance, which was another boring one for me. I felt like Iceland's staging was done very well, even if I'm getting sick of the projections. Iceland did it well though, which is why I am not complaining so much.
:ba: >> :ru: Sergey felt flat. The whole projection staging is just getting boring now whilst the Bosnian group hasd a wonderful production and reeked of emotion when singing. They deserved a place in the final.

With only one listen of the songs of semi 1, I would have made the following changes:

:mt: => :md: In terms of pop songs, I found Moldova way less pretentious and boring than Malta, even if none of them are masterpieces.
:nl: => :me: : yeah, Slow Down annoyed me at first listen (congrats!) and Montenegro was so great tbh, they deserved MORE!
:sm: I don't know who else I would kick out yet, but San Marino sounded like a grower to me, it was musically interesting.

 >> :pl: Agnete was a potential winner in my eyes. Michal was good, but Agnete was amazing.

I was very disappointed by the quality of the 2nd semi-final. Very weak and downtempo. 1st semi in comparison to this looked like a proper final already.

:mk: --> :il: Kaliopi delivered a much less contrived, more fearless song and performance than Israel.
:sl: --> :bg: I'll take Slovenia's so-fail-it's-charming sass over Bulgaria's, which I just found rather obnoxious.
:al: --> :au: Because Barbra Streisand >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Celine Dion.
 --> :lv: In terms of contemporary-sounding electropop, I'll take Norway because 1) Agnete outsang Justs by a considerable margin and 2) the song had a lot more life to it - it felt and was communicated to be a lot more easily listenable.
:by: --> :lt: No specific parallels - I just had only one song left that I wanted out and one that I wanted in, so...
