Re: NORGE - Norway 2011
Oslo, Norway - Today, broadcaster NRK revealed the remaining songs set to take part in the Norwegian final or Melodi Grand Prix as it's known officially. The remaining songs will compete in Florø and Skien.
At a somewhat glamourous press event at the Hard Rock Café in Oslo, the remaining 12 artists and songs taking part in the 2011 Norwegian final were revealed, reinforcing an already exciting and eclectic plethora of acts previously announced by broadcaster NRK.
Melodi Grand Prix project leader Skjalg Solstad said "there's probably never been such a large breadth of music in Melodi Grand Prix as there is this year". These artists bring with them different styles of music from pop and country to rap.
In addition Eurovision veteran, Hanne Sørvaag is taking part with her song You're Like A Melody. When asked about taking part in the Norwegian final, this time as an artist, Hanne said, "MGP is a perfect window to show off something new and I'm going to perform my song with energy, passion and happiness".

The 45 year old has released seven albums since 1992 of which three have gone gold in the Norwegian charts.
