Despite being Irish, I like to think I'm not biased, as I always say when I think an Irish entry is awful. We've had many of them. I said though that Bambie thug was a top 3 or top 5 contender last year and they were.
This year my initial opinion after the late late performance was a mere 20% qualification chance. But I knew ireland usually have a glow up on the larger stage with modern acoustics.
Based on the images we've seen and the quick snippet released (the video snippet I'd say is from near the end of the performance as we get more dark looking "space" scenes before this based on images), I'd put her qualifications up to around 55%. Slightly more likely than unlikely as the vocals are decent, the staging decent, it has better than many other acts on stageing and it's an ear worm.
What's working against Emmy, is the placement now. If it was second half, I'd say 60% qualification chance. But it's a contender for an 9th or 10th place qualification all the same. A few others in that mix though, so it won't be easy. It will also depend on Luxembourg and what they pull off.
