Hello there, Time to start yet an another edition of EYCC! After the win by Eleni Foureira and her fiery "Fuego" last edition, it will be interesting to see what follows as our next winner. And we begin as always with picking numbers, countries and songs.
This edition, you need to pick out FIVE numbers out of the 50 excisting. That means that a total of 10 people will get to choose songs this time. If we for some reason don't get to the maximum amount, I will be picking the songs for the countries that are left.
Rules for picking songs are:
1. The five songs you pick for the contest has to have competed in five different years. It can be any year (even 2020) as long as you don't take two from the same year.
2. Your five songs has to come from at least two different decades (50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s and 20s). You can sort them however you like (for example having 2 from 00s and 3 from the 90s)
3. You are only allowed to pick a maximum of ONE winner. This is to avoid a contest with only winners.
4. You can only pick songs that HAVE NOT competed in the contest previously. You can find a list of the ones who already competed on this LINK.
Time for the final! 26 songs are fighting to become our next winner of EYCC! Here are the songs:
(If you prefer listening through a playlist, you can find it here!)
That is the 26 songs competing, and now it is time for you to vote. You use the normal ESC-system (12, 10, 8-1p) to your top 10 favorites. You are allowed to vote for the songs you selected, but remember that it is the songs that are competing, so try to vote as fairly as possible. The deadline for voting ends on Monday 13th of November at 22 CET!
Let's have some ESC-fun again!
