Welcome back to the popular and "outrageous" game here on the ESC United Forum. The ESC Big Brother game is back and our members will have to keep their favorites safe and vote out their threads as there can only be one winner. Who will win the title of Big Brother 2021 champion? We'll find out soon.

I will be your host throughout this season and I hope you'll enjoy the game. Let me explain to you how the game will work, click on SPOILER to see the rules of the game.

- The game is based on the popular Big Brother Reality TV show

- Each round, three songs will be nominated for eviction and one of the songs will be eliminated from the game. During the Semi-Final stage, we will continue until we're down to 13 songs in each Semi.

- Unlike ESC, the Big 5 and Host are NOT guaranteed a spot in the Final, they have to fight their way through the Semis just like any other song so no special treatment here.

- Every round, our members will vote for ONE song that they want to nominate for elimination and ONE song that they would like to keep safe.

- Please vote for the song that you would like to nominate for eviction by casting your vote in the poll. The two countries with the highest number of votes will be nominated for eviction. Reminder: You can only nominate one entry so be smart and strategic about your vote.

- Please post in this thread and pick a song that you would like to grant immunity to. All you have to write (ex): I would like to grant immunity to MADAGASCAR. (obviously pick an ESC country instead)
At the end of the period, we will throw all of your votes in a hat and will randomly choose the country to receive immunity. So the more votes a country receives for safety, the higher their chance to be safe that round.

- Everyone that votes to grant immunity to a country, is automatically eligible to become the next Power of Veto holder. The person that holds that power has the ability to provide Safety to one of the three nominated songs. The POV winner will need to send @Matt a Private Message letting him know which of the three nominated songs should be safe. It is up to them to decide to share their decision or keep it a secret. The host will post the name of the Veto winner in this thread and also send a PM with further instructions.

- Starting in Round 2, we will also choose a HoH randomly. Every person casting a vote for Immunity for a country will become eligible to win the powerful postion. The HoH will be able to nominate a third country/song in addition to the two entries chosen by the public

In a nutshell: Vote for the song that you would like to nominate for eviction in the poll, then post the country that you would like to grant immunity to by responding in this thread.

I agree with Trece. This game is also about strategy. You can see that Israel, Slovenia and Belgium have never risked. What does it mean? There is a tendency to carry on in the race weak songs and singers to make it easier to win. This also happened in Sanremo which penalized Irama for not making him collide with the Maneskin. Here they all look like friends but ... trust me, everyone makes their own calculations. Go do the calculations on the "Ranking Game" and you will see that certain votes are fully strategic. Each Eurofan of the forum has its own updated ranking and observes ... then votes by rewarding the allies and spending the other votes in a useless way I used to be bitter about this , now I don't care anymore I have decided to fight strategy with the lack of strategy. I enjoy the music , the bitter blood for victory I make others do it

Now you have to tell me where you see the hatred of Lithuania Only on this occasion The Roop are taking risks and in any case they are not in danger because their song is not the only one at risk of elimination. Do you want to know who will lose? Probably Netherlands (unless eurofans will take advantage of this great opportunity to eliminate an uncomfortable finalist between TIX and The Roop ).

Okay, I play this first time, so I don't know the history of this game, so apologies. I guess everybody can play however they want. In my mind it should be about voting down songs you like the least. I can be strategic too, but to a limit, I wouldn't wanna vote against song that I do like and instead let some "bad" song stay in. The results are also not represantative then. But that's just my opinion and now I also know more the nature of this game, so sorry! I just like Lithuania

I really appreciate your sincerity. You are among those people here who love music beyond the calculations. Never lose this quality. I think like you. In this vote I voted against the Netherlands which, in my opinion, brought a less strong performer and song than Lithuania and Norway.

In the Big Brother game you are never truly safe. Norway's first nomination in their game already ended up in their elimination.

That means Round 5 is starting now. Please vote in the poll for the country/song that you would like to nominate for elimination so don't vote for your favorite You can be as strategic about your vote as you would like.

Also, please post in this thread what country you want to grant immunity to. You can say

I'd like to grant immunity to...............

or something to that effect, just make sure it's clear and straight forward.

The Head of Household has already nominated one song for elimination but all remaining songs will be up for a vote. The Immunity winner has the ability to overrule the HoH if they pick the right country so as always, choose wisely. n addition, everyone that is posting their vote for immunity is also eligible to become the next HoH or PoV winner so a lot of power is up for grabs.
