However, the danish jury member Hilda Heick somehow misunderstood/screwed up her votes resulting in Ukraine getting 12 as they actually should've gotten 0 and Australia getting 12 instead of 10

Meaning it should be:

:ua: 522
:au: 513

But even after that, San Marino didn't even have a televote and yet gave away televote points based on some calculated-bla-bla-bla what others voted for, giving Ukraine 12 and Australia 5. If you discount these fake points both we get:

:ua: 510
:au: 508

Still :ua: won, what's your point?

The most shocking thing about this is that she ranked Ukraine last.

Edit: actually, second last before Georgia.

you can't just remove san marino's "fake" points (not that they are "fake", if anything they are a fairer representation of the sanmarinese televote than just doubling the sanmarinese jury points) because some form of points need to be allocated or else san marino would only have half the points as everyone else

so let's suppose the old policy of using the jury points as televote was in place. the san marinese jury gave 12 to ukraine and 0 to australia. therefore:

:ua: 522
:au: 508

so, nope, not 2 points more, but 14. not much different from the difference of 23 points we ended up with. =)

It's not official. That woman stated she made a mistake, yes, but the result won't change.
She was probably too busy taking selfies instead of checking her own ranking.

Bottom 5

This only makes thing worse!

A few more points and Dami Im would have won the damn contest, something she so deserved. :(

This is one ugly statement even if it is true. Since you can't change anything, it would be more ethical if it wasn't revealed to public in that way. How would it feel like after you win a contest and they say "You didn't actually deserve it. You won by mistake. But it's fine because it won't change now."

This is ridiculous. Jamala won the contest and that's it.

The diaspora voting tilted the balance. This is easily the most controversial contest in several years.

Substract the diaspora voting that just voted for their homeland or neighbouring countries and Dami Im would have won.

SUPPOSE several other countries revealed several similar things. And that it turned Dami actually scored more than Jamala.
Would it be appropriate to not give Dami the award she deserves?

It's not Jamala's fault that a Dane bitch is an attention seeker.
Nevertheless, Ukraine won, so?

The fact is Jamala didn't "win" anything - by 2 points or 2 million - she was neither the people's choice nor the jury's choice! Mr Nobody's winner!!!

According to the rules, a combined winner is the actual winner...so she is the ESC winner, no matter what the haters say.
