He should be DSQ. Commercial for a cosmetic product brand.

I thought it should be written as "I'm a survivor, stay-aliver," with a comma and a hyphen, meaning "stay-aliver" is a noun. Then again, I didn't even read the lyrics. Gnfkdklgj

Today it was :am: turn at the ESC kompakt songchecks 2025.

The verdict of the bloggers:

Benny - Unfortunately I don't like "Survivor" at all. For me, it's too wild of a mix; it sounds very martial and just drones on in my ears. PARG's vocal style doesn't appeal to me either. That's why it's unfortunately in last place for me this year. :1:

Berenike - "Survivor" isn't exactly innovative, but it's a good, sing-along rock number. The song is probably more suited to a stadium than the Eurovision stage. But at Eurovision, there's room for everything, and since there are no other loud rock numbers this year, the song will surely find fans. I won't pick up the receiver right now, but I don't think "Survivor" is bad either, and the ethnic part adds a little extra "spice" to the song. :6:

Douze Points - From the very first second, I feel aggressively addressed by" Survivor". It´s supposed to sound powerful and dynamic, but it clearly overshoots the mark for me. Hardly any of the melodies stick with me. The best part is the instrumental bridge. It's a shame, because PARG actually has charisma and could play well with the audience. :3:

Laureen - Hello? Imagine Dragons? Anyone? The similarity serves PARG well, because it definitely makes the song a little more enjoyable to listen to. Nevertheless, I'm skipping it in the playlist because this entry seems too contrived, too planned. I recognize the intention and I´m disgruntled. :3:

Giulia - Imagine Dragons, but unfortunately not on the musical level of Imagine Dragons. Songs that simply repeat a single word in the chorus earn a lot of negative points from me. It's not that I have much to criticize about the song, but I'm not really enjoying listening to it either, and I actually find it rather tiring. :3:

The points of the other bloggers:

Chris - :8: Danio - :5: Manu - :2: Max - :3: Peter - :7: Rick - :7:

This might be another song that does much better with casuals than with the fan bubble. I haven't seen much love in the fandom for it.

I'm surprised people think this is not going to qualify. He's gotten a lot of love at the pre-parties, and the song is very well produced. He's also very charismatic and Armenia has several friends in the semi-final. If it were a 50/50 situation, the story would have been different, but given the 100% televote to qualify situation, he's a safe bet for 7-8th place in the Semi, which is an accomplishment in itself given that this is the tougher semi-final and the songs in this semi are far more competitive than in SF1.

This entry will be one of the ones that the casual viewer really enjoys, while the fandom doesn't appreciate.

It's just like the Horehronie effect, but in reverse.
